Trina HesterDirector of Development
Trina Hester joined KPBS in July 2009. As Director of Development, Trina works with donors who support KPBS through gifts of their estate. She also manages the Producers Club (a membership of $1,200 or more annual donations) and raises major gifts for special initiatives and select reporting beats. She oversees the Planned Giving Advisory Committee and Producers Club Committee and works closely with volunteers. Trina has a passion for KPBS and its mission to educate, inspire, entertain and advance civic involvement. She has enjoyed being a volunteer reader for KPBS Radio Reading Service since 2004. Trina has lived in San Diego for more than 23 years and has three grown children. She enjoys the outdoors, hiking, swimming at the beach, bicycling, travel, movies and museums.
